Religious jingoism does not exist in northern Europe. It is true they do not care if some is Christian or Hindu. But there is growing anger against Muslims because of the Prophet Mohammed cartoon incident and subsequent attack on Danish news paper Jyllands post. England in the 1950's and 60's allowed many Pakistani Punjabis and Pathans to settle in their country. At that time there was shortage of labour in England and there was this notion that those people are best suited for hard labour. Like every where in the world their population multiplied very rapidly and they still remain a very conservative lot. Soon their population will exceed local english people and England will be under the threat from radical Islamic organisations. Organisations like English Defence League etc are small efforts by native English people to counter this situation.

Most attendance in churches in UK are from our Malayali brothers and sisters and also old aged natives. In many churches they have Sunday mass in Malayalam.
